The South Burnett Car Club’s show and shine at the Nanango Football Grounds on Sunday attracted an impressive total of 64 entries – cars and motorbikes.

Organisers were also pleased that 35 stallholders booked spots for the annual event, including trade stalls and market stalls featuring a wide range of used parts.

The event has been running for more than 10 years, and this year’s was sponsored by Nanango’s Heritage Community Branch.

Wal Sells, from Wondai, took home the coveted Shannons Car Of The Show trophy for his modified Holden EJ ute.

He told southburnett.com.au he had owned the vehicle since 2010 and had been on the road since 2015.

However, he has had engine issues over the years and had recently had a new 355 CID motor fitted.

The outing to Nanango was its first run.
