Women's Shed - Kingaroy
The Kingaroy Women's Shed will be open from 9:00am to 3:00pm today behind the Salvation Army's headquarters at 44 Alford Street in Kingaroy. The shed is open to all women who'd enjoy the companionship of other women while undertaking woodwork, metalwork or similar projects or who'd just enjoy a chat. More details? South Burnett Saints Training Night - Kingaroy
The South Burnett Saints AFL Club will be holding their regular Thursday evening training sessions at Lyle Vidler Oval in Youngman Street, Kingaroy tonight. Juniors will train from 4:30pm to 5:30pm, and seniors from 5:45pm.
Yarraman P10 Public Consultation Meeting - Tanduringie
A public consultation meeting on whether to retain Year 10 at Yarraman State School or axe it and get Year 10 students to attend Nanango State High School instead will be held at Tanduringie State School at 6:00pm this evening. All interested people are welcome.
QCWA Central Region Conference - Kingaroy
The QCWA Central Region will be holding the third (and final) day of a three-day conference in the Tobruk Room of Kingaroy RSL from 8:00amthis morning to around 3:30pm this afternoon. The conference will be led by State Vice President Central Region Mrs Joy Coulson, and other State Officers will also be attending. Today's conference agenda will be given over to putting in place resolutions or rwecommendations for action on matters raised in Conference discussions yesterday.
Wondai Wolves Training Night - Wondai
The Wondai Wolves RLFC will be holding their regular Thursday night training sessions at the Wondai Sportsgrounds off the Bunya Highway just north of the CBD this evening. Juniors train from 4:30pm to 5:30pm, followed by seniors at 6:00pm.
St Joseph's Bingo - Murgon
St Joseph's Parish Hall in Angel Avenue, Murgon will be holding bingo games from 7:30pm this evening. There'll be $1000 in prizes on offer as well as a canteen and lucky bingo tickets. Proceeds will go to aid St Joseph's school and community works.
Taras Hall Bingo - Nanango
Bingo games will be held at Taras Hall immediately next to Nanango RSL in Henry Street, Nanango at 10:00am this morning. Everyone is welcome!
Play 500 - Murgon

Nanango Community Auxiliary Meeting
The Nanango Community Auxiliary will be holding its regular first Thursday of the month meeting at the QVCWA Rooms in Fitzroy Street, Nanango (just opposite Foodworks) from 9:30am this morning. The Auxiliary is open to both men and women and members enjoy a cuppa and snacks, play Hoy and other games, or simply sit and chat. Thursday Morning Zumba - Nanango
Zumba dance fitness classes will be held at the Nanango Skating Rink in George Street, Nanango at 9:00am this evening. The class fee is $5 and everyone is welcome.
Feed Your Senses Evening - Kilkivan
June 3-10 is Kilkivan Tom Quilty Week, and tonight a "Feed Your Senses Evening" will be held at the Kilkivan Showgrounds in Mudlo Road from 7:00pm until late to help participants and supporters warm up for the big event (which will run from midnight Friday to midnight Saturday). Tonights get-together will feature wine, cheese and iolive tastings; entertainment by local bush poets; and an art and photography display. Admission is free and everyone is welcome!

Alcoholics Anonymous - Kingaroy
Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experiences, strengths and hopes with each other to help solve their common problems and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for A.A. membership, and A.A. isn't allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution.
