V8 Tractor Pull - Kingaroy
Calling all revheads! The Kingaroy and District Vintage Machinery Club will be holding the second (and final) day of their V8 Tractor Pull at their grounds at the rear of Kingaroy Airport today as a fundraiser. The event will feature - amongst many other things - specially modified V8-powered mini tractors from Victoria. These tractors - rated up to an amazing 1500hp - will be pulling weight-transfer sleds over a 100m course to see which can go the furthest. There’ll also be custom-built tractors, antique tractors, hot rods and a truck show, as well as a visit by the famous Bandag Bullet (the fastest truck in the world), plus market stalls, food stalls, the Lions barbecue and a licensed bar. The action gets underway at 9:00am and will wrap up at around 12:00 noon. Admission is $15 and under-15s can get in for free. There'll also be a $5 a ticket raffle for a ride in the Bandag Bullet - and you can read more about all of this (and see a video) on our website
