Timbertown Woodworkers Group Meeting - Blackbutt
The Timbertown Woodworkers Group will be holding their regular Sunday morning meeting at the Blackbutt Showgrounds in Bowman Road, Blackbutt from 8:00am until around 12:00pm today. Hivesville Country Markets
The Hivesville Country Markets will be held at the Hivesville Sports Grounds from 7:00am to around 12:00 noon today. These family friendly monthly markets feature a variety of stalls including fresh local farm produce, plants, crafts and lots of food. There'll also be mini auctions running throughout the morning and there's plenty of free parking in the grounds. Sunday Soccer - Murgon
The final day of the 10th round of the 2013 Evolution Solar South Burnett Football League will be held at the Murgon Showegrounds in Macalister Street, Murgon today (the first was held yesterday in Kingaroy). Barambah will be taking on Nanango today in what could be a punishing trio of matches for the home team. At present, Nanango sit on top of the table in all three divisions while Barambah are bottom of the table in 1st Division and only just off it in the other two. Even so, Barambah are a very tough and determined side. So while Nanango must go into all three games as favourites, their victory isn't assured. 2nd Division will face off at 11:00am; Womens Division at 1:00pm; and 1st Division at 3:00pm. Spectators and supporters are very welcome, and a canteen and BBQ will be operating too.
Manar Park 5th Birthday Celebration Weekend
Manar Park at 2252 Manar Road in Boondooma will be celebrating their 5th birthday under operators Dave and Robyn today. The park will be offering 25% off all riding, four wheel driving and camping activities along with a Movie Night, an Obstacle Challenge and a Hill Climb Challenge. Lunch In The Country Smorgasbord - Wondai
Dimities Cottage at 49 Haly Street in Wondai will be holding another of their regular Lunch In The Country Smorgasbords from 12:00pm to 2:00pm today. The cost is a modest $15.00 per person for a really great feed (BYO), but bookings are advisable if you want to be certain of a seat: (07) 4168-5744
Open Jump Day - Nanango
The Nanango Hack & Pony Club will be holding an Open Jump Day at the Pony Club Grounds near the Nanango Race Course today. The event is open to anyone regardless of age and whether or not they're a member of the club, but normal Pony Club rules about safety and tack will apply. A South Burnett Equestrian Challenge - open to all South Burnett school children - will be held at the Kingaroy Showgrounds from 9:00am onwards this morning.
Sunday Markets - Kilkivan

Belleville Cafe Sunday Markets - Kingaroy
Belleville Cafe opposite Kingaroy Airport on the Kingaroy-Cooyar Road (formerly The Artist's Cottage) will be holding their new Sunday Markets from 8:00am to 12:00 noon today. The new markets are held on the fourth Sunday of each month and are open to all types of stallholders. 3m x 3m sites are available and set-up time is from 6:30am onwards. More details?
