South Burnett CTC - Working For Our Community
Murgon Music Muster
It's back for 2025! The first day of the six-day Murgon Music Muster will get under way at the Murgon PCYC in Macalister Street, Murgon today with walk-up artists performing all day. The invited guest artists - which this year include Allan Caswell, Brendan Radford, Lindsay Waddington, Paul Ricketts, Dean Perrett, Amber Goldsmith, Alice Benfer, Clyde Cameron, Lloyd Back and Clarrie Weller - will be performing on Friday and Saturday. Entry fees for this year's Muster are $70 per person for a four-day pass covering Thursday to Sunday; or $20 for Thursday only (includes evening concert of Man In Black classics by Chris Callaghan), $35 for Friday only, or $45 for Saturday only. Entry today, Wednesday and for Sunday's Gospel session is free. Tickets will be available at the gate or at the entry door. Communi-TEA at Graham House - Murgon
Graham House will be running another of its morning teas from 10:00am today at Graham House, 21 Taylor Street East, Murgon. The get-together for seniors is usually held on the last Tuesday and Wednesday of every month. Today's theme is "We Wear Pink In October", so wear pink if possible for breast cancer awareness! South Burnett Chorale - Kingaroy
The South Burnett Chorale will be holding their regular Tuesday practice night at the Church of Christ Hall at the corner of Haly and Burnett streets in Kingaroy from 6:30pm to 8:30pm this evening. The Chorale meets every Tuesday night during school terms, and new members are always very welcome!
Tuesday Night Trivia - Murgon

The Kingaroy Run Co social running group will meet up at Hunter Gatherer Trader in Alford Street, Kingaroy at 6:00am this morning for a 30-minute run that will finish with a cup of coffee. The group meets every Tuesday morning, is open to anyone of any ability level, and has no membership fee.
Tuesday Night Poker - Nanango

Centacare in the Biscuit Tin behind the church at 15 Albert Street, Kingaroy will be holding a Creative Connections get-together from 10:00am to 12:00 noon this morning. Anyone is welcome to come along for a cuppa, a chat and casual self-guided craft sessions with materials provided (or just BYO craft project). Alcoholics Anonymous - Murgon
Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of people who share their experience, strength and hope with each other to solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for membership. AA is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organisation or institution. South Burnett Pantry - Kingaroy
The South Burnett Pantry will be open from 8:30am to 12:00 noon today at 1A (Lot 3) Railway Terrace in Kingaroy. The Pantry is a not-for-profit registered charity run by a Board of Management and staffed by volunteers, and it helps low income families, couples and singles stretch their shopping dollar further. The Pantry offers $40 pantry hampers that contain most of the food and personal cleaning items that most people need to get through part of the week (though you'll need to shop elsewhere for extras or special items).
