South Burnett CTC - Working For Our Community
Shrek The Musical - Kingaroy
The South Burnett Musical Comedy Society will be presenting their fourth and last performance of "Shrek The Musical" at Kingaroy Town Hall in Glendon Street, Kingaroy from 1:00pm this afternoon. This family fun production tells the tale of an unlikely hero who finds himself on a life-changing journey alongside a wisecracking donkey and a feisty princess. Tickets to see Shrek The Musical are $30 for adults or $20 for students/concessions and they can be booked online or purchased at the door.
Kilkivan Community Garden & Railway Markets
The monthly Kilkivan Community Garden & Railway Markets - held on the last Sunday of the month (February to November) are on again from 7:00am this morning at 2a Bligh Street (opposite the hotel. For more information, or to book a stall, phone Deborah on 0448-749-727.
Bunya Mountains Markets
The Bunya Mountains Markets, held on the last Sunday of every month, will be running at Dandabah in the Bunya Mountains today. The markets feature up to 30 stands selling quality, locally produced fresh produce, arts and crafts and they'll be operating from 9:00am to 2:00pm. Local cafés like Poppies On The Hill and The Bunya Mountains Café will be offering special Market Day menus and morning teas, lunches and afternoon teas. Walking trail maps will be available from both cafés, the Bunya Mountains General Store and market stalls if you'd like to take a stroll through the adjoining National Park. More details? Kumbia Museum
The Kumbia and District Historical Society's museum, located in the Federation Heritage Centre behind Kumbia Hall in Bell Street, will be open from 1:30pm to 3:30pm this afternoon. Karaoke Competition - Nanango
The Commercial Hotel, at 69 Drayton Street, Nanango, is holding a weekly karaoke competition every Sunday from 2:00pm. Phone (07) 4163-1208 to reserve a spot, or simply walk in! Each week, two winners will be selected to compete in the Grand Final which will be held on November 9.
Wondai Community Share
The Wondai Community Share is held on the fourth Sunday of every month at 9:00am at Dingo Creek Park, on the Bunya Highway. Guests at this free get-together can bring along any excess fruit, vegetables, baked goods or other household items they have to swap with others for things they may need, or simply to give them away. Everyone is welcome!
Sunday Afternoon Poker - Kingaroy

Community Pickleball - Woolooga
Woolooga Community Hall is hosting community pickleball every Sunday from 3:30pm at the hall at 8 Thomas Street, Woolooga. Everyone is welcome to come along, including beginners. All equipment is provided at the court, so just bring water!
Free Sunday Lunch - Kingaroy
A free community lunch is available every Sunday from 12:30pm to 1:30pm at The Old Railway Station building, O'Neill Square, in Kingaroy. The Community Serving Community Meals Project is co-ordinated by the South Burnett Support Alliance and relies on volunteers from the local community.
