Olivia! - Kingaroy
Months of rehearsals will come to fruition tonight and tomorrow morning when the talented students at St John's Lutheran School in Kingaroy bring the musical Olivia! to life in the school auditorium in Ivy Street. Family members, friends and community members have been invited to come along to experience the fun! Tonight's performance starts at 6:00pm (doors open at 5:30pm). Please make a donation at the door. Saints Presentation Night
- The South Burnett Saints Australian Football Club will be holding their annual presentation night dinner from 6:00pm this evening at Kingaroy Town Hall. A bar will be running. Tickets are $50 for adults ($20 per child) and can be purchased by messaging the club on on Facebook
Barefoot Bowls - Murgon
Murgon Bowls Club will be hosting a fun barefoot bowls night tonight to raise funds for the Murgon Independent Lifestyle Project. Cost is $20 for adults (children under 12 $10) which includes bowling and a meal. There'll also be raffles and an auction. Bowls start at 6:00pm with the meal, including dessert, at 7:00pm. Friday Social Golf & Dinner - Proston
The Proston Golf Club, on Brigooda Road, Proston, will be holding a Friday afternoon social golf game today. Names need to be in by 2:00pm for a 2:30pm tee-off, and everyone is welcome. South Burnett Pantry - Kingaroy
- The South Burnett Pantry will be open from 8:30am to 12:00 noon today at 1A (Lot 3) Railway Terrace in Kingaroy. The Pantry is a not-for-profit registered charity run by a Board of Management and staffed by volunteers, and it helps low income families, couples and singles stretch their shopping dollar further. The Pantry offers $40 pantry hampers that contain most of the food and personal cleaning items that most people need to get through part of the week (though you'll need to shop elsewhere for extras or special items). Alcoholics Anonymous - Murgon
- Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of people who share their experience, strength and hope with each other to solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for membership. AA is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organisation or institution.
