South Burnett CTC - Working For Our Community
Heritage Waterhole Rocks - Nanango
The 11th annual Heritage Waterhole Rocks rock'n'roll campout festival will get under way at 5:00pm this evening at Nanango Showgrounds. The festival is devoted to all things associated with 1950s and 1960s rock'n'roll, including classic cars, hotrods, vintage caravans, dancing, market stalls and a fashion competition all backed up by great rock'n'roll music. On stage from 7:00pm tonight will be the The Rocknrollabillys. There'll also be a barbecue available tonight, hosted by the South Burnett Gas Guzzlers car club. Entry today is free, but admission on Thursday, Friday and Saturday is $25 per day (an all-event pass is $60). Sunday is also free. Powered and unpowered camping sites are available to book at the showgrounds. Everyone is welcome and the Festival will rock on until Sunday afternoon. More details? The South Burnett Regional Council will be holding its monthly General Meeting at the Warren Truss Chambers inside its offices in Glendon Street, Kingaroy from 9:00am this morning. Line Dancing - Blackbutt
A line dancing class will be held at the Blackbutt Memorial Hall in Bowman Road, Blackbutt at 9:30am this morning. Line dancing classes are held every Monday night and Wednesday morning, and new dancers are always welcome.

Nanango Theatre Company's Morning Melodies group will be hosting a fun-filled morning today from 10:00am at the theatre on the corner of Elk and George streets, Nanango. Nanango To Kingaroy Shopping Bus
Graham House will be running a shopping bus between Nanango and Kingaroy today. The bus will pick up customers from their Nanango address at 8:30am and transport them to Kingaroy Shoppingworld (or other destinations if arranged beforehand), then make a return journey to Nanango at around 11:30am. Tickets on the bus are $10 per person return and the bus runs fortnightly on Wednesdays, but places are limited so a booking is necessary. Proston Mental Health Peer Support Group

Free Community Meal - Kingaroy
A free community meal - dine-in or takeaway - is available every Wednesday night from 5:30pm to 7:00pm at The Salvation Army Hall, 109 Kingaroy St, Kingaroy. The Community Serving Community Meals Project is co-ordinated by the South Burnett Support Alliance and relies on volunteers from the local community.
Alcoholics Anonymous - Nanango
Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of people who share their experience, strength and hope with each other to solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for AA membership. AA is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organisation or institution. AA meets in Nanango every Wednesday morning from 10:00am to 11:00am at the Catholic Church hall at the corner of Alfred and Gipps street.
