South Burnett CTC - Working For Our Community
Heritage Waterhole Rocks - Nanango
Day 3 of the 11th annual Heritage Waterhole Rocks rock'n'roll campout festival will get under way at 9:30am this morning and run through until about 10:30pm tonight at Nanango Showgrounds. The festival is devoted to all things associated with 1950s and 1960s rock'n'roll. There'll be market stalls, a licensed bar and lots and lots of dancing! On stage today will be Kenny and the Nitro Rockers, Rock'n'Roll Boys and The Blue Suede Band. Admission today is $25 (or you can get an all-event pass for $60). Sunday is free. Powered and unpowered camping sites are also available if you want to bunk down in the showgrounds. Everyone is welcome and the Festival will rock on until Sunday afternoon. More details? Trivia Night - Cloyna
Cloyna State School's Student Council is hosting a trivia night from 6:00pm this evening at Cloyna Hall, 41 West Cloyna Road. Tables of six, $10 per person. A licensed (cash only) bar will be running, BYO snacks and there'll be prizes and raffles. More information, phone 0455-448-122.
Kingaroy RSL Bingo

Barefoot Bowls - Yarraman
Yarraman Bowls Club, on the New England Highway, is hosting a family-friendly barefoot bowls afternoon from 4:00pm this afternoon. No equipment is needed (just wear flat-sole shoes). Members will be on hand to share tips and tricks. The bar will be open. $15 green fee includes a hamburger or $5 per person for bowls only. Friday Social Golf & Dinner - Proston
The Proston Golf Club, on Brigooda Road, Proston, will be holding a Friday afternoon social golf game today. Names need to be in by 2:00pm for a 2:30pm tee-off, and everyone is welcome. Cold beer and snacks will also be available at the clubhouse from noon, and the club's very popular Friday night dinner will be running after 5:30pm. Music Trivia Night - Yarraman
The Yarraman Kindergarten will be holding a Music Trivia event at the Yarraman Memorial Hall in Browne Street, Yarraman from 6:00pm tonight. Murgon To Kingaroy Shopping Bus
Graham House will be running a shopping bus between Murgon and Kingaroy today. The bus will pick up customers from their address at 8:30am and transport them to Kingaroy Shoppingworld (or other destinations if arranged beforehand), then make a return journey about 11:30am. Tickets on the bus are $15 per person return and the bus runs fortnightly on Fridays (except public holidays) but places are limited so a booking is necessary. South Burnett Pantry - Kingaroy
The South Burnett Pantry will be open from 8:30am to 12:00 noon today at 1A (Lot 3) Railway Terrace in Kingaroy. The Pantry is a not-for-profit registered charity run by a Board of Management and staffed by volunteers, and it helps low income families, couples and singles stretch their shopping dollar further. The Pantry offers $40 pantry hampers that contain most of the food and personal cleaning items that most people need to get through part of the week (though you'll need to shop elsewhere for extras or special items). Alcoholics Anonymous - Murgon
Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of people who share their experience, strength and hope with each other to solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for membership. AA is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organisation or institution.
