Shrek The Musical - Kingaroy
The South Burnett Musical Comedy Society will be presenting their third performance of "Shrek The Musical" at Kingaroy Town Hall in Glendon Street, Kingaroy from 6:30pm this afternoon. This family fun production tells the tale of an unlikely hero who finds himself on a life-changing journey alongside a wisecracking donkey and a feisty princess. Tickets to see Shrek The Musical are $30 for adults or $20 for students/concessions and they can be booked online or purchased at the door. Note: There's just one more performance, a matinee production tomorrow.
Uniting Church Spring Fair - Kingaroy

Churchyard Op Shop Markets - Nanango
- The Anglican Churchyard Op Shop, at the corner of Drayton and Burnett Streets in Nanango, will be open from 7:30am to around 11:30am today. Spooky Saturday - Kingaroy
- There'll be some monster fun from 10:00am to noon today at the Kingaroy Library in Glendon Street The free activities will include Spooky Storytime, a Slithery Scavenger Hunt, Creepy Crawly tattoos and creepy crafts. There'll also be prizes for the spookiest outfit!
St Patrick's Quiz Night - Nanango
- St Patrick's Primary School at 16 Alfred Street, Nanango will be running their annual Quiz Night in the school's hall from 6:00pm (for a 6:30pm start) until late this evening. Play will take place in teams of 6 to 8 and the evening will have an "Ocean" dress theme. Wondai Country Markets
The Wondai Regional Art Gallery's Wondai Country Markets - held on the fourth Saturday of every month - will be operating at Coronation Park in Wondai's CBD from 7:00am to 12:00 noon this morning. The markets feature stallholders selling fresh fruit and vegetables, arts and crafts, useful knick-knacks and clothing. There'll also be live entertainment; lots of other stalls selling great gifts and goodies; and special hand-made treasures from local artisans. The BBQs will also be firing up from around 6:45am to dish out hearty breakfasts for early bargain hunters. South Burnett Cricket
The South Burnett Cricket Association's junior and senior games will be played today at locations across the South Burnett. In Stage 2, Nanango 2 v Kookaburras and Cobras v Murgon at Alan Downie Sports Fields, Nanango. In Stage 3, Nanango v Kingaroy at Alan Downie Sports Fields. Stage 2 & 3 games start at 8:00am.
In Round 3 of the South Burnett Senior competition, Nanango Scorpions v Murgon Diggers at Alan Downie Sports Fields, Nanango; Saints v Wondai Wolves at Taabinga State School; and Wooroolin Warriors v Kingaroy Services at Lyle Vidler Oval in Kingaroy. Senior games start at 12:30pm. In the Dalby competition, Tingoora Vikings will be hosting their first home game of the season at Tingoora Sportsground. They will take on the Waratahs from noon.
Saturday Night Bingo - Kingaroy
