Back To School
- The first term of the 2014 school year begins today and all school-age children attending State schools are required to return to class this morning. Term 1 will conclude on Friday, April 4 with a seventeen day Easter break. Motorists should take note that reduced speed limits around school grounds also begin to apply from today and they can face a steep fine for exceeding them - so drive slowly. Nanango Tennis Muster & AGM
- The Nanango Tennis Association will be holding their 2014 summer season tennis muster at the Nanango Tennis Courts in Brisbane Street, Nanango at 6:30pm tonight. Old and new players are both very welcome, but new players will need to bring their racquets to have a game and be graded for the season. The muster will be followed by the Association's Annual General Meeting at 7:00pm, and all interested people are very welcome to attend if they wish. More details? Tuesday Night Darts - Kingaroy
- The South Burnett Darts Association will be holding their regular Tuesday night darts competition from 7:00pm to 10:00pm at their premises at Shed 1, 18 Stolzenberg Road in Kingaroy. A $6 playing fee applies, but there's also a fully liocensed bar and raffles too. - The Murgon Mustangs senior team will be holding their regular Tuesday night trainiong session on the main oval of the Murgon Showgrounds in Macalister Street, Murgon at 6:00pm this evening. After a year off, the mighty Mustangs will be returning to the paddock in 2014 and supporters are very welcome to come along and cheer the players on.
