South Burnett CTC - Working For Our Community
Aqua Fitness For Adults - Proston
The South Burnett Regional Council's Healthy Communities programme will be holding the 3rd week of a 10-week "Aqua Fitness For Adults" course at the Proston Swimming Pool in Collingwood Street between 3:00pm and 4:00pm today. The course features easy, water-based exercises and games for all fitness levels, Zumba and water aerobics and pool entry fees are being subsidised by the Council - all you need to bring is a gold coin donation, swimming togs, a towel and medication (if required). Timbertown Woodworkers Group Meeting - Blackbutt
The Timbertown Woodworkers Group will be holding their regular Wednesday meeting at the Blackbutt Showgrounds in Bowman Road, Blackbutt from 8:00am until around 4:00pm today. Bowls Club Bingo - Kingaroy

The Kingaroy SES will be holding their regular Wednesday night training session at the Kingaroy SES headquarters in Glendon Street, Kingaroy (next to Kingaroy X-Ray) at 7:30pm this evening. New members are always very welcome.
Wednesday Morning Bridge - Kingaroy
The Kingaroy Bridge Club will be holding their regular Wednesday morning bridge games at the Artie Kerr Centre (right next to the Dept. of Transport) in Kingaroy Street, Kingaroy from 9:00am to 1:00pm today. Wednesday Wipe-Outs Ten Pin Bowling - Kingaroy
The South Burnett Lively 50s&60s Social Group will be resuming their weekly Wednesday Wipe-Outs 10-Pin Bowling Morning at the Kingaroy Ten Pin Bowling Alley at 4 Irvins Street from 9:15am this morning (bowling starts at 9:30am sharp). The cost is $15.60 for three games plus a $2.00 fee that will be used towards prize monies and trophies which will be handed out out at the end of the season. Anger Management Course - Kingaroy
If you have trouble managing anger, the Kingaroy Salvation Army will be kicking off a free 7-week Anger Management Course between 1:30pm and 3:30pm in Kingaroy today. The course is being facilitated by Kathy Rosenberger using material prepared by Doug Taylor M.Soc.Sc (Couns), who manages the Salvo's Counseling Service at Upper Mt Gravatt, and will run over the same hours each Wednesday until March 5. Over the seven weeks the course will look at learning to live without destructive anger; how to recognise and control anger; communication skills; stress reduction tactics; and how to change destructive relationship patterns. South Burnett Regional Council Meeting - Kingaroy
The South Burnett Regional Council will be holding its first monthly general meeting for 2014 at the Glendon Street Council Chambers in Kingaroy at 9:00am this morning. Meetings are open to the public. Note: Meetings are normally held on the third Wednesday of the month, but today's meeting has been set back a week because of the summer holiday break. Meetings will return to normal from next month onwards.
Tennis Fun For Children - Nanango
The Nanango & District Tennis Association will be running a "Tennis Fun For Children" fun learning event at the Brisbane Stret, Nanango tennis courts between 9:00am and 10:00am this morning (and also tomorrow morning). Participating children must be accompanied by a parent or adult and hats, water bottles and sunscreen are a must. Cost is just $1 per session. Alcoholics Anonymous - Wondai
Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experiences, strengths and hopes with each other to help solve their common problems and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for AA membership, and AA isn't allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution.
