Taromeo Country Music Club Social - Blackbutt
The Taromeo Country Music Club will be holding their third bi-monthly Sunday social for 2016 at the Blackbutt Community Hall in Coulson Street, Blackbutt from 10:00am to around 4:00pm today. Entertainment will be provided by the visiting and guest artists. There'll also be multi-draw raffles, a lucky door prize, a licensed bar, plenty of food and refreshments, a licensed bar and - of course! - lots of great country music and dancing. Admission is still only $5 with bottomless tea or coffee and and free afternoon tea as well. Lunch will also be available for a small charge. Everyone is welcome!

Regional Karaoke Sing-Off For Kids - Wondai
The first heat of the Wondai Show Society's brand new Regional Karaoke Sing-Off for children will be held at Wondai Diggers Club in Mackenzie Street, Wondai from 12:30pm to 2:00pm this afternoon. This new competition is searching for the best karaoke singers in the region, and they'll be in the running to win $2500 in cash prizes at this year's Wondai Show. The children's section of the competition is open to young people aged 8 to 15 and any child not selected in today's heat is welcome to retry at a second heat which will be held on Sunday, August 7. - The South Burnett Gem Fossicking Club will be holding a meeting at 25 Redmans Road in Kingaroy at 1:30pm this afternoon. - The third Nanango Home Produce Swap will be held in the Coach House in the grounds of Ringsfield House at 45 Alfred Street, Nanango from 9:30am to about 10:30am this morning. The swap is for people who have excess home produce they would like to swap or gift to others (non-food items can also be swapped), and the event has been organised by the South Burnett Permaculture group.
