Patsy Cline and Brenda Lee Show - Nanango
Here's something different! The Patsy Cline and Brenda Lee Show - with the Texas Troubadors - will be appearing at the Nanango RSL in Henry Street from 2:00pm to 4:30pm this afternoon. Golden Guitar winner Wendy Phypers and fellow singer Marie Hodson are currently touring this wonderful show, which played to a sell-out crowd at the Capital Theatre at this year's Tamworth Country Music Festival. Marie and Wendy have many country albums between them, and have travelled and toured everywhere from Nashville to New Zealand. Their divine vocals recreate the magic of Patsy Cline and Brenda Lee, and they give a rousing performance of their stories and number one hits. Tickets to see the show are $25 and are strictly limited. They can be booked by phoning the Nanango RSL on (07) 4163-1375, or at the RSL's front desk, until sold out.

The South Burnett Saints AFL Club will be holding their regular Tuesday night training session at Lyle Vidler Oval in Youngman Street, Kingaroy (just next to Beangrowers) at 5:30pm.
Kingaroy QCWA Craft Day
The Kingaroy branch of the QCWA will be holding one of their regular Craft Days at the QCWA Rooms in Kingaroy Street, Kingaroy (just next to Kingaroy RSL) from 9:00am to around 12:00 noon this morning, and you're very welcome to bring along your own craft projects (and something to share for morning tea) for just $1. Branch craft days are always social mornings and guests are welcome come along, enjoy a great morning tea and share the fun of learning a craft together, or just enjoy a natter and friendship. Craft Days are held on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month.
Free Sewing Workshop - Nanango
Want to know how to use your sewing machine? How to repair garments? Make some simple items? Follow a pattern? If you're into sewing or want to be, then come along to the free sewing workshop being held in the meeting room behind Our Lady Help Of Christians Catholic Church at 16 Alfred Street, Nanango between 9:00am2:00pm today. Bring along your sewing machine and accessories (if you have them - if not, let the organisers know when you register) plus pins, scissors, a tape measure, a picker, a pen and notebook, and your lunch. South Burnett Chorale - Kingaroy
The South Burnett Chorale will be holding their regular Tuesday practice night at the Church of Christ Hall at the corner of Haly and Burnett Streets in Kingaroy from 7:00pm to 9:00pm this evening. Danny's Diner - Kingaroy
Danny's Diner - a free community dinner - will be held at the Uniting Church Hall at the corner of Alford and Youngman streets in Kingaroy from 5:30pm to 7:00pm tonight. The dinner is an initiative of the Kingaroy District Ministry Association for the benefit of anyone who's hungry or otherwise doing it tough. Community Information Meetings - Blackbutt
The South Burnett Regional Council will be holding community information meetings at the Council's Customer Service Centre in Hart Street, Blackbutt from 9:30am to 3:00pm today to provide Timbertowns residents with an update on the progress of the town's supermarket development. 30-minute presentations for up to 10 residents at a time will be held for residents who've made an appointment.
