Yarraman’s Royal Hotel was awash with mohawks, skinheads and crazy coloured hair on Saturday but no one seemed to mind.

It was all a fundraiser for the Leukaemia Foundation’s World’s Greatest Shave organised by Nanango singer Donna Moore and her “Believe” fundraising team.

There was lots of shaving, colouring, raffles and challenges, all accompanied by live music provided by Donna’s musician friends including Billy Tea, Annastasia Tebbit, Rowan Edwards, Tori Somers, Bunya Nut Ernie and Leila May.

Donna announced on Facebook that a total of $1535 had been raised with $3578 in pledges.

“I would like to thank the Royal Hotel –  Mel and Dom … wow, what a fantastic day,” Donna said.

She also thanked everyone who sang, shaved or coloured.

“Thank you from the bottom of my heart. You all rock …you should be all proud. I am, I believe in you all,” she said.
