Tickets to this relaxed casual event are just $20 for adults, $10 for students or $50 for a family of four and include a great roast dinner and dessert, a licensed bar and easy listening music. As well, Miss Showgirl, Rural Ambassador, Junior Miss Showgirl and Junior Rural Ambassador will be judged and crowned during the course of the evening. For catering purposes, though, tickets need to be booked by close of business on Thursday, April 11. They can be obtained in person at the Showgrounds' offices in Youngman Street, by phoning the office on (07) 4162-5800 or by phoning Roshy on 0455-897-809.

Menopause The Musical will be held at Kingaroy Town Hall in Glendon Street, Kingaroy from 7:30pm to 9:00pm tonight. The creators of the show, which has been on tour around the world for the past 17 years, say it was inspired by a hot flush and a bottle of wine, and is a celebration of women who are on the brink of, in the middle of, or have survived “The Change” - a sidesplitting musical parody set to classic tunes from the 60s, 70s and 80s that leaves many audiences cheering and dancing in the aisles. Menopause The Musical has now been seen by more than 11 million people, and its Kingaroy performance will be the show's only appearance in the South Burnett. The show is for people aged 15 or over, and tickets - at $54.90 per head - can be booked online.
