South Burnett CTC - Working For Our Community
Blackbutt Country Markets
The Blackbutt Lions Country Markets - run on the third Sunday of every month - will be held at Les Muller Park in Hart Street, Blackbutt from 7:00am until around mid-day today. The markets offer a wide range of locally produced arts, crafts and freshly harvested foodstuffs from more than 40 stallholders and everyone is welcome along!
Sunday Afternoon Poker - Kingaroy
Sunday afternoon poker games will be played at Kingaroy RSL in Markwell Street, Kingaroy today. Registrations start at 2:00pm and play begins at 2:30pm. All games are free to play and there are prizes for first, second and third. More details? Phone the RSL on (07) 4162-1755
Open Mic Afternoon - Nanango
The Commercial Hotel in Drayton Street, Nanango will be hosting an Open Mic Afternoon from 2:00pm to around 5:o0pm today, led by Sonia McMahon. Sunday Bingo - Wondai

Mud Women & Mochaccinos - Nanango
A Mud Women & Mochaccinos get-together will be held at Ringsfield House at 41-45 Alfred Street, Nanango from 10:00am to 12:00 noon today. The event - jointly organised by the South Burnett Regional Council and the Federal Government - is designed to bring women, clay and magic together and it's free, but to help plan the catering an RSVP is required. Timbertowns Woodworkers - Blackbutt
The Timbertowns Woodworkers group will be holding their regular Sunday morning meeting at the Blackbutt Showgrounds in Bowman Road, Blackbutt from 8:30am until around 12:00 noon today. Matthew Wild And Oran Carroll - Linville
Musicians Matthew Wild and Oran Carroll will be performing over lunch at the Linville Hotel in George Street, Linville from 11:30am to 3:30pm this afternoon. The hotel's kitchen will be open for lunch, dinner and snacks and if you want to stay over, the pub now has accommodation available. Bingo - Kilkivan
The Kilkivan & District Community Care Association will be running bingo games at the Kilkivan Bowls Club in Crescent Street, Kilkivan from 5:00pm this evening (eyes down at 6:00pm) and drinks and foods will be available for purchase if you get hungry. There'll also be a $470 jackpot up for grabs tonight, and proceeds will go to aid KDCCA's community projects. Everyone is welcome!
Taromeo County Music Club Social - Blackbutt
The Taromeo Country Music Club will be holding their latest bi-monthly Sunday social for 2024 at the Blackbutt Golf Club at 51 Langton Road, Blackbutt from 10:00am to around 2:00pm today. Entertainment will be provided by visiting and walk-up artists and there'll also be multi-draw raffles, door prizes, a money board, a licensed bar, plenty of food and refreshments and - of course! - lots of great music and dancing. Kumbia Museum
The Kumbia and District Historical Society's museum, located in the Federation Heritage Centre behind Kumbia Hall in Bell Street, will be open from 1:30pm to 3:30pm this afternoon.
