Relay For Life High Tea - Wooroolin
- A gala High Tea will be held at Wooroolin Hall on the Bunya Highway, Wooroolin from 10:00am this morning. The get-together is a fundraiser for the Pirates Of The South Burnett Relay for Life team and for $25 per head, guests will get to enjoy a sumptuous high tea as well as the good feelings that come from supporting the South Burnett's annual (and outstanding) Relay effort. Open Mic Jam Session & Social Bowls - Kilkivan
- The Kilkivan Bowls Club in Crescent Street, Kilkivan will be holding a free Open Mic Jam Session from 12:00 noon to around 4:00pm today. The club's bar and hot food will be available from noon, and barefoot social bowls will be happening on the greens from around 1:00pm (green fees for this are $8 for adults or $4 for students). Big Rosella Field Days - Woolooga
- Petersens Farm at 2 Reilly Road in Woolooga will be hosting the second (and final) day of their annual Field Days between 9:00am and 3:00pm today. This event - formerly known as the Big Rosella Festival - is now in its 8th year and it features local foods, farm tours, artisan and boutique markets, live music, art, cooking and cocktail demos from chefs and much more. Petersens Farm are Australia's biggest producers of the quirky, hot-pink fruit (also known as wild hibiscus) and there’s something for everyone at this event from those who fondly remember their grandmother’s rosella jam from long ago to avid foodies keen on paddock-to-plate dining and the resurgence of rosellas as a gourmet superfood. Linville Hall Markets
- The monthly Linville Hall Markets will be held at the Hall in George Street, Linville (just down a few doors from the Linville Hotel) from 7:00am to around 12:00 noon this morning. The markets feature lots of local and visiting stalls, and a Breakfast BBQ if you get hungry. You can also grab lunch at the hotel on Sundays, or take a stroll through the community garden next door. Sunday Afternoon Poker - Kingaroy

Discoloured Water In Kingaroy, Blackbutt
- Residents in Kingaroy and Blackbutt may find their household water is discoloured today - a situation that will persist for the next two weeks while the Tarong pipeline from Boondooma Dam is closed for maintenance. While the pipeline is out of action, Kingaroy's water will be drawn from Gordonbrook Dam and Blackbutt's from Boobir Weir, both of which have minerals in the water. This water will, however, be safe to drink and normal water quality is expected to resume on May 21.
Timbertowns Woodworkers - Blackbutt
- The Timbertowns Woodworkers group will be holding their regular Sunday morning meeting at the Blackbutt Showgrounds in Bowman Road, Blackbutt from 8:30am until around 12:00 noon today. Sunday Bingo - Wondai

- The Kumbia and District Historical Society's museum, located in the Federation Heritage Centre behind Kumbia Hall in Bell Street, will be open from 1:30pm to 3:30pm this afternoon.
