Goomeri Explorer Ride - Wooroolin
- The Ride 4 Relay team will be hosting a Goomeri Explorer Ride along the South Burnett Rail Trail today. Participants should meet up with their bicycles near the Grand Hotel in Wooroolin at 8:00am this morning before a leisurely ride to Wondai for morning tea, then on to Goomeri for lunch (ie a 44km ride all up). Tickets for the ride are just $20 per head and after the event Out There Cycling will be available to taxi riders and their bicycles back to Wooroolin for $30 per head. Everyone is welcome and all proceeds will be donated to this year's Relay For Life.
Timbertowns Woodworkers - Blackbutt
- The Timbertowns Woodworkers group will be holding their regular Sunday morning meeting at the Blackbutt Showgrounds in Bowman Road, Blackbutt from 8:30am until around 12:00 noon today. - The new Cooyar Hotel Markets will be running in the grounds of the Cooyar Hotel on the New England Highway, Cooyar from 10:00am to around 2:00pm today. The markets feature Neil's fresh fruit and vegetables, market stalls, seafoods, coffee and hot foods, plus free face painting for children from 11:00am to 2:00pmn. Sunday Afternoon Poker - Kingaroy

Back To Basics Music Muster - Proston
- The fifth (and final) day of the Back To Basics Music Muster will be held at 1385 Proston-Boondooma Road (13km west of Proston) today. The Muster will feature performances from Rob Breese, Reece Blinman, The Cartwheels, Brian Letton, Dean Perrett, Dianne Coombs, Lachlan Jacques, Brian Howard and Alice Benfer plus extra guest artists, walk-up acts and bush poetry. There's free camping onsite and toilets (but no showers) and open fires are allowed. Coffee and food vendors will also be onsite, but guests should BYO seating and liquid refreshments. Tickets to the Muster are $40 per head per day or $95 for a five-day pass but must be booked in advance. Tickets can ordered by phoning the organisers direct on 0412-884-482 or on the Muster website.
Sunday High Tea - Wondai
- Dimities Cottage in Haly Street, Wondai (opposite the Wondai Regional Art Gallery) will be hosting their monthly high tea from 10:00am to noon this morning. Proston Khanacross Round 3
- The Proston Car Rally Club will be holding the second day of their weekend-long Proston Khanacross Round 3 at their race track today (the club's track is located 7.5km west of Proston at 757 Proston-Boondooma Road). Racing will commence at 8:00am this morning and wrap up in the afternoon. Up to 50 cars attend Proston Rally Club meetings from all over Queensland and NSW and spectators are very welcome. There'll also be a BBQ and soft drinks stand running throughout the event, as well as a hearty breakfast supplied by the Proston Lions club available early this morning.
