Three South Burnett rural fire brigades have received $5000 grants under Round 3 of the Rural Fire Brigades Association Queensland’s “Buy Local” grants scheme.
Wattle Camp RFB will use its grant to upgrade security at its shed, with lighting and cameras.
Ballogie RFB plans to buy 30 chairs and Glencoe RFB will buy a portable storage shed.
All the purchases must be made from local suppliers.
Applications are now open for Round 4 of the grant program.
