Member for Nanango Deb Frecklington has announced the latest recipients of her Local Hero Grants.
The November 2022 round recipients are:
- Wragge Family – Support for travel to Toowoomba from Cherbourg for their memorial team participating in the Toowoomba Rugby League in memory of Lello Wragge
- Nanango & District Cricket Club – Upgrade of first aid kits
- Isabella Eisenmenger (Wondai) – Support to attend the 10-12yrs Girls National Cricket Exchange in Victoria
- The Herkind Project – supporting their Perinatal Mental Health event in April 2023.
The Local Hero Grants have been running for seven years.
They are designed to provide small donations to not-for-profit community groups and individuals from across the Nanango Electorate.
Four grants of up to $250 each are available in three rounds per year.
