The South Burnett Orchid Society held its Christmas break-up and annual trophy presentation on Sunday afternoon.
Members met for lunch at Moffatdale Ridge Winery’s restaurant.
Society president Linda Olsen presented the Champion Grower trophy to Darrell Wittmann, from Moffatdale, who accumulated the most points at meetings across the year.
Darrell also was presented with the Semgreen trophy for the best blooms.
Runner-up in the Champion Grower category was Don Elms, from Kingaroy.
The South Burnett Orchid Society meets on the last Sunday of every month.
Linda said the group had been meeting at at the South Burnett Youth Park in Somerset Street, Kingaroy, but are currently arranging a new venue for its 2023 meetings.
