Applications have opened for Australia Post’s 2022 Community Grants program.
Not-for-profit groups can apply for grants of up to $10,000 to support projects which have the primary purpose of improving mental health and wellbeing in local communities.
Last year, organisations in regional and remote locations received half the grants allocated.
Australia Post spokesperson Nicky Tracey said past recipients included projects such as peer support groups for young people, mental wellbeing workshops and community morning teas.
“We are delighted to once again offer these grants to help support the mental health of Australians all around the country. We’ve seen how these grants make a real difference in local communities, building connection and encouraging open and positive conversations around mental health,” Ms Tracey said.
Applicants are encouraged to review the guidelines to check eligibility requirements.
Applications are open until 11:59pm on July 3.
