Charges against Alkaloids of Australia Pty Ltd and the company’s former export manager, Christopher Kenneth Joyce, have been adjourned to March.

The company and Mr Joyce face 33 charges alleging breaches of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010.

They follow an investigation by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission into alleged international price-fixing linked to the supply of scopolamine.

Scopolamine is produced from duboisia.

The matter was mentioned briefly in the Downing Centre Local Court in Sydney on January 19 and adjourned to March 30.
