Glendon Street in Kingaroy will be closed from Friday evening to Sunday evening to cater for BaconFest

The annual BaconFest festival this weekend means several streets in Kingaroy will be closed.

South Burnett Regional Council says the following road closures will take place from 5:00pm on Friday (August 23) to 5:00pm on Sunday (August 25):

  •  Circular Place (the Glendon Street carpark) – closed to all traffic
  •  Glendon Street – closed between Alford and Haly streets with access remaining to the Commercial Hotel drive-thru bottle shop
  •  Access to the laneway south of the Kingaroy Town Library
  •  Car park at the rear of the Kingaroy Town Hall

“We apologise for any inconvenience that these closures may cause, and thank you in advance for your patience and co-operation during this period to ensure the event is a successful one for our region,” chief executive officer Mark Pitt said.
