Award-winning actor and author William McInnes

Award-winning Queensland actor William McInnes – well-known for his roles on multiple TV series including Seachange, Blue Heelers and East West 101 – will be the special guest at the South Burnett Relay For Life official launch next month.

William is also the author of nine bestselling books, including Worse Things Happen At Sea, co-written with his late wife Sarah Watt, which won the 2012 Indie Non-Fiction Book of the Year award.

Sarah – an award-winning film director in her right – died from breast cancer in 2011.

The Mayor’s Community Breakfast, which has become the traditional launching pad for the local Relay For Life Cancer Council of Queensland fundraising campaign, will be held on May 3 at Wondai RSL from 6:45am.
