The South Burnett Regional Council has released details of two more roadworks projects which may cause disruptions in the local area.

Next Monday, road repairs are planned to begin in Alford Street, Kingaroy, in front of the Uniting Church.

The works will include minor footpath improvements, kerb and channel replacement, pavement construction and sealing.

The work is expected to take about two weeks, weather permitting.

During construction, pedestrian access to this area may be affected and vehicle parking bays directly in front of the Uniting Church will not be available.

Council also plans to start road  reconstruction works next Monday on Kitoba Road at Kitoba, north-west of Murgon.

This project includes the rehabilitation of a 700m section of the existing sealed road.

Construction work will include earthworks, gravel pavement and bitumen sealing.

It is expected the work should be completed in April, weather permitting.

During construction, traffic will be controlled by signs with minor delays anticipated.
