FLASHBACK: South Burnett Mayor Keith Campbell, Sharon and Mark Young from Wooroolin, and Marion Campbell at the last Mayor’s Gala Charity Ball in 2015

February 21, 2017

Tickets have gone on sale for the 2017 South Burnett Mayor’s Gala Charity Ball, which will be held at Kingaroy Town Hall on May 20.

The ball is a major fundraiser for local charity groups.

This year’s proceeds will support the South Burnett Community Hospital Foundation, who will use the funds to purchase extra equipment for the hospital.

The evening will get under way at 5:30pm in the Town Hall Forecourt.

Guests will then move inside the hall to enjoy a three course meal along with complimentary wines, and entertainment by award-winning stand-up comedian and ventriloquist Darren Carr.

There will be an auction of sports memorabilia, raffles and a lucky door prize.

A dance band will also be on hand for after-dinner dancing.

Tickets are $165 (inc GST) per head or $1650 for a table of 10, and are available at the Council’s Kingaroy Customer Service Centre.

The major sponsor of this year’s Gala Charity Ball is Kingaroy’s SuperIGA, but the South Burnett Regional Council are still looking for more Gold ($5000) and Silver ($2500) corporate sponsors.

More information about sponsorship pledges can be found on Council’s website
