The second outing by the Wondai Garden Expo committee at the Wondai Showgrounds proved to be another success for organisers last month.
The Spring Garden Expo is always huge, and the number of stallholders which turned up at the showgrounds this year did not disappoint visitors.
There were stalls spread up and down the grounds, in the cattle ring and in the two pavilions.
Guest speakers included Brisbane-based horticulturalist Claire Bickle, from Gardening For The Good Life.
Members from the Wondai & District Garden Club also mounted a display in the main pavilion.
Val Crawford, from Kingaroy, won the ribbon for “Champion Specimen” at the club’s mini horticultural competition.
Some of the other winners included Delwyn Schultz, who won the Best Exhibit In Pots and Champion Orchid.
