A three-day carriage driving competition – part of a virtual international competition – was hosted by the South Burnett Equestrian Group at the Nanango Showgrounds at the weekend.
The Nations Cup is a “stay-at-home” international competition where drivers compete locally at designated host venues.
Their scores are then compiled on to a live international leaderboard.
Nanango Showground’s main oval was divided into separate competition arenas to test the horses and their drivers in various classes and skills, including dressage and obstacles.
Other legs of the competition have been held in Wales and Denmark with more events scheduled to be held this year in New Zealand, Western Australia and NSW.
