Tickets for the world-famous Kransky Sisters’ “Tunes From The Tube” went on sale this week, but you’ll need to be fast if you want to see the show.

Sisters Mourne, Eve and Dawn Kransky – in real life Annie Lee, Christine Johnston and Carolyn Johns – will be bringing along their house guests “Topology” to explore “Tunes From The Tube” at the Blackbutt Memorial Hall on Saturday, September 10.

They’ll be piling into their Morris Major and chugging up the Blackbutt Range to appear as part of this year’s Bloomin’ Beautiful Blackbutt Avocado Festival.

They’ll also be giving the South Burnett its first taste of what life in Esk is really like.

The Kransky Sisters first began performing in 2000, making regular appearances on In Siberia Tonight on SBS and The Sideshow with Paul McDermott on the ABC.

They have also made several guest appearances on Spicks and Specks and Adam Hills Tonight.

In between, they’ve won a string of awards including The Age Critics’ Award and the Best Newcomers Award at the 2004 Melbourne International Comedy Festival; a Mo Award for Best Comedy Ensemble in 2005; the Bank of Scotland Herald Angel Award for Excellence at the 2006 Edinburgh Festival Fringe; and a Sydney Theatre Award for the Best Cabaret Production of 2008.

Their comedy show will also showcase the Sisters’ musical skills with tuba, guitar and musical saw – and possibly a kitchen pot, a biscuit tin and a toilet brush – and it’s certain to be one of the highlights of this year’s festival.

The $22.50 tickets are now on sale at Blackbutt Hardware and the Blackbutt Medical Centre, and can also be purchased on the Bloomin’ Beautiful Blackbutt Avocado Festival website.

Only 150 tickets are available, and they’re certain to go fast.

The Kransky Sisters practice a high-energy dance routine in their lounge room to start warming up for their first ever Blackbutt show this September
