Three people were freed by rescue crews after a collision between two vehicles on the D’Aguilar Highway at Coolabunia on Wednesday morning.

Emergency services were called to the incident, at the intersection with Redmans Road, about 9:00am.

Five fire crews attended the crash, helping to remove two people from one vehicle.

A third person had to be cut free from the other.

A QAS spokesperson said one person suffered leg, chest and head injuries.

All three were taken to Kingaroy Hospital in a stable condition.

Traffic on the highway was blocked while emergency crews were at the scene.
