Kingaroy police faced an unusual situation on Sunday evening when a 22-year-old man turned up at the Police Station to confess he had been using illegal drugs.
When police searched the man, they allegedly found a drug utensil.
He was charged with possessing a thing for drug use and will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on March 21.

An elderly woman was taken to Kingaroy Hospital for observation after a two-vehicle crash in Kingaroy Street, Kingaroy, on Saturday morning.
Officer-in-charge of Kingaroy Police, Senior Sergeant Duane Frank, said it appeared the woman, aged 81, was pulling out from a parking spot when she collided with a vehicle travelling down the street.
Snr Sgt the driver of the second vehicle attempted to take evasive action but could not avoid the collision. The 32-year-old Kingaroy man was not injured.
A number of witnesses saw the crash. Police investigations are continuing.

A 59-year-old woman has been issued with an infringement notice for failing to give way after a collision at the Glendon Street / Markwell Street roundabout on Friday at noon.
No one was injured in the crash but both vehicles had to be towed from the scene.

A 61-year-old Memerambi has been arrested and returned to prison after he was spotted by police in the Kingaroy CBD on Friday evening.
The man was was wanted on a warrant after breaching his parole conditions.

Police were called to a disturbance in First Avenue, Kingaroy, at 10:00pm on Saturday.
They found that a party had spilled out into the street.
Snr Sgt Frank said that while police were dispersing the crowd, one man at the party allegedly punched another man at the party.
A 36-year-old Kingaroy man was taken into custody and charged with public nuisance.

A 40-year-old man was arrested at a house in Knight Street, Kingaroy, on Sunday afternoon on a return-to-prison warrant.
Snr Sgt Frank said the man was uncooperative and struggled with the police officers trying to take him into custody.
He has been charged with obstructing police.

So far in 2016, 36 people have been killed on Queensland roads, including 12 in February alone.
This is 11 more deaths than at the same time last year.
