Goomeri businessman Joe Prendergast is due to appear in Maroochydore District Court on October 23.
He was indicted on four charges – including two counts alleging indecent treatment of a child under the age of 16 – on February 9 in the Kingaroy District Court.
Other charges that Prendergast had been due to face trial over earlier this year have been discontinued by the Crown.
Prendergast had entered pleas of not guilty to these matters.
