More blasting has been scheduled on the Memerambi Barkers Creek Road as part of the ongoing roadworks taking place just east of Memerambi.
A South Burnett Regional Council spokesman said today it had become necessary to carry out some extra blasting to remove large rocks.
Traffic will be controlled during the blasting procedure and the road may be closed for up 30 minutes after the blast.
The blasting is scheduled to take place on Monday (October 21) between 10:00am and 2:00pm.

UPDATE October 21: Due to unforeseen circumstances the blasting that was proposed for October 21 has been postponed to Wednesday (October 23).
