If you’re heading out to Kingaroy tip, you’ll notice some changes … the old exit is now the entrance.
The change has become necessary as the South Burnett Regional Council will begin installing a weighbridge in the area on Monday, (May 7), so the old entrance has had to be temporarily closed.
The old exit lane has now become the entrance lane, and an alternative exit has been established. Directional signs have been set up to indicate the new traffic flows.
These changes came into effect yesterday to allow residents to become familiar with the new entrance before the actual construction starts.
Council anticipates the changes will remain in place until the end of June.
