The Nanango Race Club will be holding its first meeting of the new racing year at Lee Park Racecourse on Saturday.

There’s six races on the Nanango Cup Day card with Race 1 to jump at 12:45pm.

Free buses will be running from Nanango (noon, Howletts Lane) and Kingaroy (11:30am, Carrollee Hotel)  but bookings are essential!

There’ll be free activities for the children and musical entertainment from local singer Natalie Fenton after the last race until late.

Entries into the Fashions Of The Field competition can also be made online

There’ll also be a competition for the Best Dressed Strapper and South Burnett Mayor Kathy Duff will also be looking for her “Paddock Pick” (ie. best dressed on course, no registration required).

Admission to the races is $10 for adults and $5 for pensioners (under 18s are free) and entry tickets can be booked online

NB. There’s no ATM on the course.
