Kingaroy Red Hatters Meeting
The Kingaroy Red Hatters - the South Burnett branch of the international Red Hat Society - will be meeting at a South Burnett venue today. The Red Hat ladies meet on the first Tuesday of every month (except January) from 10:00am to around 1:00pm, extending the hand of friendship and offering social support to women who might be feeling isolated or just in need of some camaraderie with a little light-hearted fun and laughter thrown in for good measure. Danny's Diner - Kingaroy
Danny's Diner - a free community dinner - will be held at the Uniting Church Hall at the corner of Alford and Youngman streets in Kingaroy from 5:30pm to 7:00pm tonight. The dinner is an initiative of the Kingaroy District Ministry Association and is for the benefit of anyone who's hungry or otherwise doing it tough. The group currently has three sections in operation: Joeys (for children aged 6 to 8 years); Cubs (8-11 years); and Scouts (11-15 years).
