Sunday AFL Kingaroy
The South Burnett Saints AFL team will be hosting a pre-season match against the Chinchilla Suns at Lyle Vidler Oval in Youngman Street, Kingaroy from 11:30am this morning. The Saints had a blockbuster year in the Darling Downs 2nd Division competition in 2014, coming within a whisker of taking out the Grand Final. Today's game is a warm-up for the season ahead, and spectators and supporters are very welcome!
Hivesville Country Markets
- The Hivesville Country Markets will be held at the Hivesville Sports Grounds from 7:00am to around 1:00pm today. These family friendly monthly markets feature a variety of stalls including fresh local farm produce, plants, crafts and lots of food. There'll also be mini auctions running throughout the morning and there's plenty of free parking in the grounds. St Patricks Day Concert - Kumbia
- Kumbia's annual St Patricks Day Concert will be held at the Kumbia Hall in Bell Street, Kumbia at 2:00pm this afternoon (doors open at 1:30pm). The concert will feature entertainment by local artists and will be followed by a delicious afternoon tea.
