Gallipoli, A Manual Of Trench Warfare - Kingaroy
The South Burnett Regional Council will be presenting the acclaimed stage show "Gallipoli, A Manual Of Trench Warfare" at the Kingaroy Town Hall in Glendon Street, Kingaroy at 7:30pm tonight (doors open at 6:45pm). The show is being brought to the region by Jally Entertainment, the same group that bought the highly successful "Calendar Girls" production to the South Burnett last year. Tickets are $30 for adults or $25 for concessions, and can be obtained from Council Customer Service Centres, Thorps Jewellers in Kingaroy Shoppingworld or at the door tonight.
Danny's Diner - Kingaroy
Danny's Diner - a free community dinner - will be held at the Uniting Church Hall at the corner of Alford and Youngman streets in Kingaroy from 5:30pm to 7:00pm tonight. The dinner is an initiative of the Kingaroy District Ministry Association and is for the benefit of anyone who's hungry or otherwise doing it tough. The group currently has three sections in operation: Joeys (for children aged 6 to 8 years); Cubs (8-11 years); and Scouts (11-15 years).
