Coffee With A Cop - Kingaroy
Kingaroy police will be holding an informal "Coffee With A Cop" session at Muffin Break inside Kingaroy Shoppingworld from 10:00am to around 11:30am this morning. The session is a great chance to meet local police in an informal setting, ask them any questions you like and share any concerns you might have, as well as have a coffee and a muffin with them. A similar session held several months ago was very well-attended and everyone is welcome
Wednesday Afternoon Games - Blackbutt
The Roy Emerson Museum at the end of Hart Street in Blackbutt will be hosting Wednesday afternoon board games from 2:00pm to around 4:00pm today. There'll be a big range of popular board games on offer, but guests are welcome to bring their own if they wish. BIEDO Business Meet & Greet - Murgon
BIEDO - the Burnett Inland Economic Development Organisation - will be holding a Meet & Greet for South Burnett businesses at Murgon Town Hall in Gore Street, Murgon from 5:30pm to 7:30pm tonight. This free networking event will feature displays from local business and community groups along with a range of business-related government agencies and representatives. There'll also be a guest speaker (Jenna Sanders from Kenilworth Country Bakery, who'll be sharing her insights on what it takes for businesses to be a success in small rural communities) and Q&A panel. Nibblies will be provided, too, and there'll also be a business card lucky door prize, but to help plan the catering an RSVP would be greatly appreciated. Connections Craft Group
The Connections Craft Group will be holding its weekly meeting at The Biscuit Tin behind St Mary's Church at 15 Albert Street, Kingaroy from 12:00 noon to around 2:00pm this afternoon. Members can bring their own craft project, or join in an activity the group is doing. Everyone is welcome and morning tea is provided for a gold coin donation. More details? Dinner with Petero Civoniceva - Proston
Agforce will be hosting a free dinner with former rugby league all-star Petero Civoniceva at Proston Town Hall in Rodney Street, Proston from 5:00pm to 10:00pm this evening. The dinner is part of a resilience program being jointly run by Agforce and Lifeline, and is open to anyone - whether they're Agforce members or not. To plan the catering, though, an RSVP is required because seats are limited. You can make one online.
Rising Stars Playgroup - Yarraman
The Yarraman Rising Stars Playgroup will be meeting at the Yarraman P9 State School Meeting Room between 8:45am and 10:30am this morning. Children involved in the playgroup will get to enjoy a morning of indoor and outdoor play and fun; develop pre-reading and pre-writing skills; form strong relationships with other children; and transition to school more smoothly. If you're bringing your child along, you should also bring along morning tea, a water bottle, a hat, closwed-in shoes suitable for climbing and old clothes (sunscreen will be provided). Reconciliation Week Flag Raising - Kingaroy
The South Burnett Regional Council will be holding a flag-raising ceremony at the Glendon Street forecourt in Kingaroy at 10:30am this morning to mark national Reconciliation Week. This year, the Council have installed a fourth flagpole in the forecourt to fly the Indigenous flag next to the Australian, Queensland and South Burnett flags. Today's function will be opened with a Welcome To Country and will be followed by guest speakers before the flag raising, and then a morning tea. Everyone is welcome.
Wednesday Night Poker

The Kingaroy Ukesters ukulele group will be holding their weekly meeting in The Hub Room of Kingaroy's Orana Aged Care Facility from 1:00pm to 3:00pm this afternoon. Alcoholics Anonymous - Proston
Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other to help solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for A.A. membership. AA isn't allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organisation or institution.
