Sunday Golf - Nanango, Kingaroy, Kumbia & Proston

There's a fair spread of golfing action around the region today in Nanango, Kingaroy, Kumbia and Proston. In Nanango, the Nanango Golf Club on the D'Aguilar Highway north of town will be holding the Fitzroy Hotel Men's Monthly Medal, along with qualifying rounds of A, B and C-grade matchplay. And in Proston, the Proston Golf Club at 81 Brigooda Road will be holding a stableford competition with names in by 9:00am for a 9:30am tee-off: (07) 4168-9367. Murgon CBD Markets

The monthly Murgon Markets will be held in Lamb Street in the heart of Murgon from 7:00am until around 12:00 noon today. The markets offer locally-made crafts, foods and produce and are always an interesting Sunday morning out. New stall-holders are always welcome too! More details? Kilkivan Sunday Markets

The weekly Kilkivan Markets will be held in Lester Millar Park in Kilkivan from 7:00am until around 12:00 noon this morning. Sunday Afternoon Darts - Kingaroy

The South Burnett Darts Association will be holding their regular Sunday afternoon Pot Luck Doubles darts competitions from 11:00am to 4:00pm at their premises at Shed 1, 18 Stolzenberg Road in Kingaroy. A $10 playing fee applies, but that includes a great BBQ lunch. Lions Country Garden & Lifestyle Expo - Blackbutt

The second (and final) day of the 9th annual Blackbutt-Benarkin Lions Garden and Country Lifestyle Expo will be held at the Blackbutt Sports Centre in Janice Court from 8:30am this morning until 2:00pm this afternoon. The Expo will feature a range of garden and home-related displays from different exhibitors. There'll also be children's activities, Tai Chi and Karate 4 Kids demonstrations, plus food and refreshments. Admission is free and there's also plenty of parking available nearby for a gold coin donation. Everyone is welcome along!
