RBS Dance Academy End Of Year Concert - Murgon
The RBS Dance Academy will be hosting their gala "End Of Year Concert" at Murgon Town Hall in Gore Street, Murgon from 4:30pm onwards this afternoon (doors open at 4:30pm; concert starts at 6:30pm sharp). This year students at this popular annual dance spectacular will be performing dances from The Nutcracker, along with many other amazing routines. Tickets will be available at the door and admission fees are $15 for adults (high schoolers upward) and $12.50 for primary school age children, while pre-schoolers are free. Everyone is welcome! Fortunato Isgro - Kingaroy

Two One Act Plays - Nanango (Final)
The Nanango Theatre Company will be presenting the fourth and final performance of their last production for the year at the Nanango Theatre House at the corner of Elk and George Streets, Nanango at 7:00pm tonight (show starts at 7:30pm sharp). This evening's performances will be two one-act plays - "The Package" and "Remains To Be Seen" - and will include supper. Tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for pensioners or students, and can be obtained in advance from the Nanango Visitor Information Centre in Henry Street, Nanango or at the door tonight. Southern Star Academy of Dance Annual Concert - Kingaroy
The Southern Star Academy of Dance will be holding its Annual Concert at the Kingaroy Town Hall in Glendon Street, Kingaroy from 5:30pm this afternoon. The concert will offer a great night of entertainment including songs from Frozen, the Grinch and the Nutcracker, along with many Christmas songs. A Christmas Hamper raffle will also be run. The South Burnett Woodcrafters will be holding their regular Saturday morning meeting at their clubhouse, which is located behind the Kingaroy Visitor Information Centre in Haly Street from 8:00am to around mid-day today. Symphony In The South Burnett - Kumbia
The South Burnett Community Orchestra String Ensemble will be performing a "Symphony In The South Burnett" concert at the Kumbia Memorial Hall in Bell Street, Kumbia from 5:30pm this afternoon. The concert will offer a BBQ dinner at interval (with dessert, cordial, tea and coffee included), along with wine and beer at $5 per glass. Concert tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for concessions or $20 for families - but for catering purposes, tickets need to be pre-purchased from Kingaroy Office Central or by phoning Wendy Kelly on 0409-270-496 if you plan on having dinner (tickets for the concert without dinner will be available at the door). Charity Auction - Murgon
A Charity Auction featuring 100 different items will be held at the old railway station at 75 Macalister Street in Murgon at 10:30am this morning as a fundraiser for the Murgon Men's Shed. Gates will open at 9:30am and there'll be a BBQ running if you feel peckish while you browse. Items up for auction include furniture, equipment and handyman services, amongst many others. Saturday Cricket
The sixth round of the South Burnett's A Grade cricket competition will be played in Murgon and Wondai today, with Murgon playing RSL Services in Murgon, and Wondai playing Warriors from noon at Wondai (Nanango will be having a bye). Today's martches will be the last in the season's A Grade competition until January 10th, with a bye for the Test Match next Saturday and a yet to be confirmed two-day challenge the weekend after, followed by a four week Festive Season break. Meanwhile, the fifth round of the B Grade competition will also be played, with Warriors taking on the Kumbia Rattlers at Kingaroy's Lyle Vidler Oval; RSL Services playing Barambah at Taabinga State School; and the Murgon Diggers playing the Murgon Colts at Murgon Showgrounds. Unlike A Grade, the B Grade competition will continue uninterrupted for the next three Saturdays until it, too, takes a Festive Season break. Spectators and supporters are very welcome at all games.
Trash & Treasure Garage Sale - Murgon
The South Burnett PCYC at 40 Macalister Street in Murgon will be holding a Trash & Treasure Garage Sale from 7:00am untilo 12 noon today. Items up for grabs include weight equipment, weights, a treadmill, mop buckets, push bikes and a lot more.
South Burnett Saints Sausage Sizzle - Kingaroy
The South Burnett Saints AFL Club will be holding a sausage sizzle at Samios Plumbing (formerly Pomfret's) in Kingaroy Street, Kingaroy from 8:00am this morning as a fundraiser for their junior grades. Everyone with an appetite - preferably a big one - is very welcome!
