Outdoor Movie Night - Wondai
Here's something different! A gold coin donation Outdoor Movie Night will be held in Coronation Park in the heart of Wondai's CBD from 6:00pm this evening. The featured movie is the Australian comedy "Red Dog" and there'll be hot chips, ice creams and soft drinks on sale at family-oriented prices too (but BYO chair or blanket to sit on). The evening has been organised by the Charlotte The Emu Memorial Committee - partly as fundraiser for their drive to erect a permanent memorial to the town's much-loved emu; and partly to update the community on how the project is going. And after the movie is over, the nearby Wondai Hotel & Cellar will have after-movie coffee and cakes on sale, as well as a special supply of Western Australia's famous Emu Bitter available for $5 a can, with all proceeds going towards the Memorial Committee Fund as well. Kumbia Community Morning Tea
- The Kumbia Progress Association will be holding a Community Morning Tea at 10:00am this morning in the meeting room at the side of Kumbia's Anglican Church at 31-33 Brook Road. Everyone is welcome along to this free monthly gathering for residents who live in and around the Kumbia area for lots of laughs, delicious home baked goodies and entertainment.

Alcoholics Anonymous - Kingaroy
