Lynda's 11 v Queensland Bulls Masters - Kingaroy
If you're a cricket fan and/or would like to support a really great cause, get along to Lyle Vidler Oval in Youngman Street, Kingaroy any time from 11:00am onwards today to see Lynda's 11 play the Queensland Bulls Masters. This invitational T-20 match will be raising money for Chrones Disease research, and it will feature talented players from right across the South Burnett pitting their cricketing skills against some of Queensland's (and Australia's) best ex-cricketers. A bar and BBQ will be running all day and into the early evening, and admission is a slim gold coin donation. It'll be a great day of cricket for a great cause.
Sunday Afternoon Poker - Kingaroy

2014 Murgon Music Muster
The final day of the four-day Murgon Music Muster will get underway at the PCYC complex at the Murgon Showgrounds in Macalister Street, Murgon at 8:00am this morning with an Invited and Walk-Up Artists Concert that will last until late afternoon. The Muster is being organised by the Murgon Rotary Club and it features a wide range of country and bush balladeering talents. Lunch and dinner will be available in the grounds, too. Admission today is $5 and overnight camping is available in the grounds for between $5 and $7.50. Murgon RC Club Race Meeting - Murgon
The Murgon RC Club for radio-controlled cars will be holding Round 6 of their Winter Series at Angelfield Aerodrome at the end of Macalister Street, Murgon from 10:00am to 2:00pm today (drive w-a-y past the Showgrounds along the dirt road and through the gate marked "Private Property"). Competitors will be racing six gruelling 7-minute laps before the adrenalin packed finals, and there'll be a BBQ lunch and soft drinks available too. Spectators are more than welcome to come along for free, but to take part in the racing you'll need to be a PCYC member ($30 per year for an adult or $60 per family - you can join up on site today) and the fee for racing is $10.
