Neon Night Walk - Nanango
South Burnett Karate Association and Karate 4 Kids will be holding their annual Neon Night Walk with free glow sticks from 5:00pm this evening from Nanango Lions Park to Hannibal's Bucket and back. There'll also be a free BBQ! More info? Phone Jolene on 0409-713-023.
Clay Target Shoot - Kingaroy
- A practice session will be held this afternoon ahead of the Kingaroy Clay Target Club's annual two-day shoot at its range in Aerodrome Road, Kingaroy, this weekend. There's a $17,000 prize pool up for grabs. Nominations for the two days are $170 (or $135 if competing in the Lady, Junior or Veterans events). Powered camping on-site is available for $10. Dinner will be available to purchase tonight and tomorrow night, as well as breakfast and lunch on Saturday and Sunday.
Kingaroy QCWA Scone Day
The Kingaroy QCWA will be holding another of their popular Scone Days in their rooms at 122 Kingaroy Street, Kingaroy (just next to the RSL) from 9:00am this morning to around 11:00am. Visitors can enjoy a delicious morning tea or phone in an order and pick up some freshly-baked scones! Fitness & Friends - Murgon

Friday Night At The (New) Shed
- Well, the weekly get-together has temporarily moved to the Masonic Lodge in Gipps Street as The Shed is currently off-limits! But the fun will still start at 7:00pm and run until late tonight for local musicians or anyone else who enjoys music who comes along. Bring your instruments and jam in a relaxed and informal setting, or just sit, listen and enjoy the wide variety of talent on offer. Friday Social Golf & Dinner - Proston
The Proston Golf Club, on Brigooda Road, Proston, will be holding a Friday afternoon social golf game today. Names need to be in by 2:00pm for a 2:30pm tee-off, and everyone is welcome. South Burnett Pantry - Kingaroy
- The South Burnett Pantry will be open from 8:30am to 12:00 noon today at 1A (Lot 3) Railway Terrace in Kingaroy. The Pantry is a not-for-profit registered charity run by a Board of Management and staffed by volunteers, and it helps low income families, couples and singles stretch their shopping dollar further. The Pantry offers $40 pantry hampers that contain most of the food and personal cleaning items that most people need to get through part of the week (though you'll need to shop elsewhere for extras or special items). Alcoholics Anonymous - Murgon
- Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of people who share their experience, strength and hope with each other to solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for membership. AA is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organisation or institution.
