Clay Target Shoot - Kingaroy

A practice session will be held this afternoon ahead of the Kingaroy Clay Target Club's annual two-day shoot at its range in Aerodrome Road, Kingaroy, this weekend. There's a $17,000 prize pool up for grabs. Nominations for the two days are $170 (or $135 if competing in the Lady, Junior or Veterans events). Powered camping on-site is available for $10. Dinner will be available to purchase tonight and tomorrow night, as well as breakfast and lunch on Saturday and Sunday.

Kingaroy QCWA Scone Day

The South Burnett Pantry will be open from 8:30am to 12:00 noon today at 1A (Lot 3) Railway Terrace in Kingaroy. The Pantry is a not-for-profit registered charity run by a Board of Management and staffed by volunteers, and it helps low income families, couples and singles stretch their shopping dollar further. The Pantry offers $40 pantry hampers that contain most of the food and personal cleaning items that most people need to get through part of the week (though you'll need to shop elsewhere for extras or special items).
