Swan Lake Screening - Kingaroy
A free screening of Ballet Preljocaj's performance of the ballet Swan Lake - with music performed by the Queensland Symphony Orchestra - will be at the Kingaroy Performing Arts Centre (in the grounds of Kingaroy State High School at the end of Markwell Street) from 7:00pm this evening (doors open at 6:00pm). France’s leading contemporary ballet company reimagines Tchaikovsky’s timeless tale of love and betrayal into a modern-day tragedy. Ballet Preljocaj is known for its bold reimagining of classic ballet stories, dramatic choreography and spectacular design. Country Music Showcase - Kumbia
The LBS Music Group is bringing a country music showcase for one night only from 5:30pm tonight at Kumbia Memorial Hall. The featured artists are Peggy Gilchrist, Lindsay Butler, Shaza Leigh, Ashley Cook and Rick Gay. Tickets are just $30 (cash or card at the door). There'll also be a barbecue and drinks available to buy.
Country Convicts Concert - Linville
- The Country Convicts will be bringing their 80s-style pub rock to the Linville Community Hall in George Street, Linville, from 7:00pm to 10:00pm this evening (doors open at 6:30pm). The concert has been organised by the Linville Progress Association and is a fundraiser for hall. Tickets are $5 and can be booked online. There'll be dancing and a licensed bar will be operating. Bring a plate to share. Free camping is available across the road with showers and toilets if you'd like to stay overnight.

Round 8 of the South Burnett women's soccer competition will be played at the Barambah club's home ground at Wondai Sportsground this evening. Kingaroy Wests will take on the Nanango Panthers at 6:15pm, followed by Kingaroy Easts v Barambah Bears at 7:45pm. There'll be hot food and cold drinks for sale!

South Burnett Pantry - Kingaroy
- The South Burnett Pantry will be open from 8:30am to 12:00 noon today at 1A (Lot 3) Railway Terrace in Kingaroy. The Pantry is a not-for-profit registered charity run by a Board of Management and staffed by volunteers, and it helps low income families, couples and singles stretch their shopping dollar further. The Pantry offers $40 pantry hampers that contain most of the food and personal cleaning items that most people need to get through part of the week (though you'll need to shop elsewhere for extras or special items). Alcoholics Anonymous - Murgon
- Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of people who share their experience, strength and hope with each other to solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for membership. AA is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organisation or institution.
