South Burnett CTC - Working For Our Community
Friday Night Soccer - Kingaroy
Round 9 of the South Burnett women's soccer competition will be played at Tom Alford Oval in Kingaroy this evening. Kingaroy Wests will take on the Barambah Bears at 6:15pm, followed by Kingaroy Easts v Nanango Panthers at 7:45pm. There'll be hot food and cold drinks for sale!
Health Yarn-Up - Kingaroy
Darling Downs Health is asking the local First Nations community to have a say on a proposed 2025-2028 Health Equity Strategy to improve health outcomes for the region’s Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. A “Yarn Up” event will be held from 10:30am to 12:30pm today at the Kingaroy CWA Rooms in Kingaroy Street. Further information on the strategy can be found online (3.8Mb PDF)
Dr Fred Morgan Memorial Morning - Nanango
The community memorial for the late Dr Fred Morgan will be held from 10:00am today at Nanango Golf Club. Friends and former patients of Dr Fred are invited to attend.
Kingaroy RSL Bingo

Friday Night At The (New) Shed
Well, the weekly get-together has temporarily moved to the Masonic Lodge in Gipps Street as The Shed is currently off-limits! But the fun will still start at 7:00pm and run until late tonight for local musicians or anyone else who enjoys music who comes along. Bring your instruments and jam in a relaxed and informal setting, or just sit, listen and enjoy the wide variety of talent on offer. Barefoot Bowls - Yarraman
Yarraman Bowls Club, on the New England Highway, is hosting a family-friendly barefoot bowls afternoon from 4:00pm this afternoon. No equipment is needed (just wear flat-sole shoes). Members will be on hand to share tips and tricks. The bar will be open. $15 green fee includes a hamburger or $5 per person for bowls only. Barefoot bowls is held on the 1st and 3rd Fridays of every month!
Tropical Pink Trivia Night - Kingaroy
Kingaroy Red Ants rugby league club are holding a special trivia night at their clubhouse at T.J. O'Neill Oval in Kingaroy to raise funds for the McGrath Foundation. Cost is $600 for a table of 10. South Burnett Pantry - Kingaroy
The South Burnett Pantry will be open from 8:30am to 12:00 noon today at 1A (Lot 3) Railway Terrace in Kingaroy. The Pantry is a not-for-profit registered charity run by a Board of Management and staffed by volunteers, and it helps low income families, couples and singles stretch their shopping dollar further. The Pantry offers $40 pantry hampers that contain most of the food and personal cleaning items that most people need to get through part of the week (though you'll need to shop elsewhere for extras or special items). Alcoholics Anonymous - Murgon
Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of people who share their experience, strength and hope with each other to solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for membership. AA is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organisation or institution.
