Friday Night Soccer - Kingaroy
Round 9 of the South Burnett women's soccer competition will be played at Tom Alford Oval in Kingaroy this evening. Kingaroy Wests will take on the Barambah Bears at 6:15pm, followed by Kingaroy Easts v Nanango Panthers at 7:45pm. There'll be hot food and cold drinks for sale!
Health Yarn-Up - Kingaroy
- Darling Downs Health is asking the local First Nations community to have a say on a proposed 2025-2028 Health Equity Strategy to improve health outcomes for the region’s Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. - Yarraman Bowls Club, on the New England Highway, is hosting a family-friendly barefoot bowls afternoon from 4:00pm this afternoon. No equipment is needed (just wear flat-sole shoes). South Burnett Pantry - Kingaroy
- The South Burnett Pantry will be open from 8:30am to 12:00 noon today at 1A (Lot 3) Railway Terrace in Kingaroy. The Pantry is a not-for-profit registered charity run by a Board of Management and staffed by volunteers, and it helps low income families, couples and singles stretch their shopping dollar further. The Pantry offers $40 pantry hampers that contain most of the food and personal cleaning items that most people need to get through part of the week (though you'll need to shop elsewhere for extras or special items).
