South Burnett CTC - Working For Our Community
Texas Hold'Em Tournament - Kingaroy
A Texas Hold'Em Poker tournament will be held at the Kingaroy RSL Club in Markwell Street, Kingaroy this morning. Registrations start at 10:00am with play beginning at 10:30am. There's a $25 buy-in, $25 re-buy in and $10 highest hand payout. More details? Phone the RSL on (07) 4162-1755.
Free Garden Mulch - Kingaroy & Wondai
South Burnett Regional Council has free garden mulch available today for collection. Bring your trailer or ute to the end of Stehbens Street, Kingaroy; or the end of Scott Street, Wondai the (old tip) from 8:00am to 2:00pm. Council provided a kerbside collection of tree limbs and debris after the storms that hit Wondai and Kingaroy in January, this has now been mulched and chipped.
Wondai Community Share
The Wondai Community Share is held at Dingo Park on the Bunya Highway from 9:00am on the fourth Sunday of every month. Guests at this free get-together can bring along any excess fruit, vegetables, baked goods or other household items they have to swap with others for things they may need, or simply to give them away. Everyone is welcome!
Hivesville Country Markets
The monthly Hivesville Country Markets will be held at Memorial Park (opposite the Hivesville Hotel in Main Street) from 7:00am to around noon this morning. These family-friendly markets are held on the 4th Sunday of every month (except December) and feature a variety of stalls including fresh local farm produce, plants, crafts and lots of food. New stallholders are very welcome, too!
Kumbia Museum
The Kumbia and District Historical Society's museum, located in the Federation Heritage Centre behind Kumbia Hall in Bell Street, will be open from 1:30pm to 3:30pm this afternoon. Community Pickleball - Woolooga
Woolooga Community Hall is hosting community pickleball every Sunday from 4:00pm to 6:00pm at the hall at 8 Thomas Street, Woolooga. Everyone is welcome to come along, including beginners. All equipment is provided at the court, so just bring water!

Free Sunday Lunch - Kingaroy
A free community lunch is available every Sunday from 12:30pm to 1:30pm at The Old Railway Station building, O'Neill Square, in Kingaroy. The Community Serving Community Meals Project is co-ordinated by the South Burnett Support Alliance and relies on volunteers from the local community.
