Morning Tea & Sausage Sizzle - Murgon
May is Community Centres Month, and Graham House Community Centre at 21 Taylor Street East in Murgon will be celebrating it today with a community morning tea and sausage sizzle in their grounds from 10:00am to around 12:00 noon (there'll also be free face painting and craft activities for pre-school aged children too). Members of the public are invited to come along, join in the celebrations, meet the GHCC team, find out more about the many services and programs provided by the Centre and meet other locals. Graham House will also be opening their new "Family To Family" enterprise this morning - a great new service where pre-loved adult and children's clothing, furniture, white goods, kitchen items, blankets and linen will be collected and made available to people in the community who are in genuine need (a donation of goods for this new service would be appreciated but isn't obligatory). Cards & Bowls Afternoon - Kingaroy
- The Kingaroy Senior Citizens Club will be holding their regular Monday afternoon indoor bowls and cards competitions at their centre on the corner of Avoca and Kingaroy Streets, Kingaroy (opposite Super IGA) from 1:00pm onwards today. South Burnett Wine Industry Association Meeting - Kingaroy
The South Burnett Wine Industry Association will be holding its third monthly meeting for 2012 at the Carrollee Hotel in King Street, Kingaroy at 7:00pm this evening. Tonight's get-together is a dinner meeting (order your own meal by 6:30pm if you want to dine) and will be discussing a range of topics of interest to anyone who'd like to see the region's wine industry continue to develop. Monday Evening Bingo - Blackbutt
- Bingo games will be held in the Blackbutt Community Hall on the D'Aguilar Highway at Blackbutt from 7:00pm this evening. There'll be 16 games overall as well as two continual jackpots. Everyone is welcome.
